  • Co-founder, Strategist

    Jo brings a wealth of experience to the table, having held roles including founder, CEO, chief product officer, chief marketing officer, chief revenue officer, and head of product marketing, with some of New Zealand's notable tech success stories like Xero, Timely (acquired in 2021), CarbonCrop, and Kitomba (acquired 2014). Her journey began in Fintech, where she played a pivotal role in launching the UK's first cloud investment platform at Standard Life Group in 2005. Following the Global Financial Crisis, Jo exited the investment world to found an e-commerce platform and community for conscious consumers, growing it to more than 10,000 members before it was acquired in 2011.

    With a practical, strategic, and creative approach, Jo embodies a JFDI attitude. Her humility, combined with a hands-on mindset, ensures a grounded and direct perspective that resonates with team members, business objectives and budgets.

  • Co-founder, Creative Director

    Ciarán has been leading creative and marketing strategy for some of NZ’s coolest and fastest growing names for the past 15 years. Having grown up in Ireland, he studied at the Manchester School of Architecture before bringing his distinctively conceptual approach to brands like Xero, Fisher & Paykel and Halter.

    This broad experience has seen him deliver engaging, provocative and award-winning product marketing across both hardware and software businesses, from fintech to the future of farming. With a portfolio that goes beyond visual design, Ciarán’s focus is on recognising what motivates potential customers and creating the right experiences for them to love a product.

    A creative leader who excels at energising existing design teams and fostering an organisation-wide culture of creativity, he’s equally at home rolling up his sleeves and bringing a practised and methodical approach to any opportunity.
